Housing Prices: Up, Up and Away

Sunday August 17, 2003
San Diego is a really great city to live -- if you can afford it. And if you're hoping to buy a home in the area, you're going to be in for sticker shock, if you aren't already. Heck, I own my own modest home -- which I bought 10 years ago at the bottom of the market -- and I'm in total shock at the runaway housing prices. Is it worth it? I'm not so sure, especially with the resale market passing the $400,000 median threshold. Read about the housing bubble that doesn't seem to want to burst in this recent Union-Tribune article.
