Meet Jack of the Box

I like Jack. He's the funniest, most irreverent CEO you'll see on TV (OK, OK, he's not real. I mean, check out that big head!). And the commercials for San Diego-based Jack in the Box are consistently entertaining - something not easily achieved in often inane world of fast-food advertising. But Jack in the Box has always been a little different (remember the clown head that would talk back to you at the drive thru?) The local chain may still be only a regional player amongst the McDonalds, Burger Kings and Taco Bells of the world, but I think that's why San Diegans have such an affinity for "Jack's" - it has an attitude that somehow speaks to us. Just take notice of all the variations of Jack antenna balls cruising the freeways of San Diego. Jack in the Box is cool...and the food is pretty good, too!
