Padres Option Manager Bochy Through 2005

The San Diego Padres announced today that the club has exercised the 2005 option in Manager Bruce Bochy's contract. Executive Vice President/General Manager Kevin Towers made the announcement. "Exercising the option in Bruce's contract ensures that one of the top managers in baseball and a tremendous baseball mind will remain in a Padres uniform through the 2005 season," said Towers.
