Petco Park Gets First Run-Through With Aztec Invitational

Petco Park gets to go through a dress rehearsal in handling crowds before the Major League Baseball Season begins next month when the Aztec Invitational college baseball tournament begins play tonight, March 11, at 7 pm. On top of that, tonight's opening game between Tony Gwynn's San Diego State Aztecs and the Houston Cougars aims to set the collegiate baseball attendance record. So far, over 35,000 tickets have been sold for the tourney opener. The Aztec Invitational continues at Petco Park through Sunday, March 14.
