Real World San Diego Recap - Episode 13

Sunday March 21, 2004
The Real World gang shows their slacker - or is it just lazy - ethos with flying colors in this episode. Seems they can't handle working...I guess working as the charter crew on the racing yacht Stars and Stripes in the middle of beautiful San Diego Bay is a bit too taxing for them. Hummph...try working fast-food 8 hours a day. So they conspire to throw a mutiny and all quit as one - although not all of them are keen to it. In fact, to his credit, Jacquese votes not to - he may not like the job, but he's no quitter. And he can't even swim! His mama brought him up well. In the end, they decide to make good with the situation - as Brad says, if they change their attitude, maybe they'll get something out of the job. Hey, it's called "Real Life."

On the shallow front, Randy brings over a recent bar pickup to the house for some partying. While doing their favorite activity, drinking of course, Erin displays her proclivity for poppping out her front false tooth to all who are interested. The gang is, shall we say, amused by this. Randy makes out for a while, then sends her home. At that point, the gang lets him have it about the girl with no tooth and hair extensions. It's quite a hoot, and Jacquese, as usual provides much of the fodder. A few days later, an embarassed Randy blows off Erin's phone calls...exhibiting his patented avoidance solution to women. A fitting dental - er, re-cap? - to this episode.Read more about this episode of Real World San Diego.
