Harlem Globetrotters, Clown Princes of Basketball, Come to San Diego

Sunday February 13, 2005
As a basketball playing kid growing up, I loved the Harlem Globetrotters. I was wowed by their amazing talents, especially the legendary Curly Neal's dribbling skills, and who couldn't love Meadowlark Lemon's comic antics. The "world's most loved basketball team" continues on its globetrotting ways with new generations of top-notch players, but the result is the same: lots of joyful happy faces, young and old. So, for those of you who have become disenchanted with the selfish hooliganism that calls itself the NBA, the Harlem Globetrotters (Feb. 18 & 20) will help you remember that basketball is a game of skill...really. For ticket info to the Harlem Globetrotters' appearance at the San Diego Sports Arena click here.

Check out the very fun and cool Harlem Globetrotters official website here.
