Hot Dog! Silver Bay Kennel Club Dog Show Is This Weekend.

Admit it: at some point last Monday or Tuesday, you checked out the telecast of the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show to see how those diva dogs compared to your own loveable mutt, right? That's the beauty of dog shows...everyone can relate to these canine family members. And of course, your pup's breed is always the best one out there. Same with me: our household got all excited when our Kerry's breed, the little-known Tibetan Terrier, won the Best Non-Sporting Group at Westminister and was a finalist for Best In Show. Of course, now the breed will probably become popular like Chihuahuas and Boston Terriers and start showing up in TV commercials. Nah. But if you want to see every doggy breed up close, make sure you head to the Del Mar Fair Grounds to see the Silver Bay Kennel Club Dog Show, Feb. 26-27, San Diego's version of the Westminster show.
