Trendy West Elm Opens Store In Mission Valley

Sunday April 24, 2005
You may have seen the store in episodes of "Queer Eye For The Straight Guy" (it's a favorite of designer Thom), or have even shopped its online store. But now San Diego has its very own West Elm home furnishings store. The trendy, urban home decor store (owned by Pottery Barn) is now open at Westfield Shoppingtown's Mission Valley, in the West annex (near Borders, Gordon Biersch and Old Navy). The San Diego West Elm is one of only five retail stores in the country (the flagship store, as seen on TV, is in Brooklyn) and fills that urban style and price gap between pricey suburban Pottery Barn and value starter-driven Ikea. Find out more about the Best San Diego Shopping Malls in my roundup.

To check out what West Elm sells, go to their online store.
