Killers Head Up Killer Street Scene 2005 Lineup

If last year's Street Scene was the transition to move towards youth and away from the Gaslamp, then the 2005 edition completes the transition. "Street" only in name, this year's Street Scene has a new venue: the parking lot of Qualcomm Stadium. It also has been moved up to mid-summer: July 29-30. And the just-announced lineup - once again leaning towards the alt-rock-hip-hop crowd - is impressive: the Killers, the White Stripes, Snoop Dogg, the Pixies, 311, to name the headliners.
