42nd Lakeside Rodeo Kicks Up Dust This Weekend

Sunday April 16, 2006
San Diego isn't all sand and surf, you know. Head a little inland and you'll get a taste of country living - horse farms, cattle ranches, chicken farms. And then there's the Lakeside Rodeo (April 21, 22, 23) - an annual event that personifies what a true-blue rodeo should be. Real cowboys, bronco and bull riding, steer and calf roping, rodeo clowns, and of course, the Lakeside Rodeo Queen. All in a wonderfully dusty rodeo setting off Highway 67 in Lakeside. It really is a fun time for the family - I've actually been to it. Read more details about the 42nd annual Lakeside Rodeo here.
