Padres Name Bud Black As New Skipper

With Bruce Bochy gone to rival San Francisco, the Padres filled the vacancy by naming former Los Angeles Angels pitching coach Bud Black as the team's new manager. Though Black has no managerial experience, he is highly regarded as a skillful pitching coach. Black pitched for 15 years in the major leagues, including stints with the Giants and Royals.
