Profile: San Diego State University and SDSU Month

Tuesday February 27, 2007
San Diego State University is the higher education powerhouse in San Diego. Want proof? Go around asking people where they went to college and chances are they'll say SDSU. I am a graduate of SDSU, and despite what you hear about its reputation for impacted classes, partying, and athletic apathy, the university does provide a good education - if you choose to get as much from a big, crowded campus. SDSU is the oldest and largest university in the San Diego region, and it touches every aspect of life here like no other institution in the community.

That's why the campus celebrates SDSU Month every March. SDSU Month is a month-long celebration of San Diego State University’s extraordinary ties with the San Diego region. It includes special events on campus and in the community, as well as special promotions from benefit partners. Read about SDSU Month right here.
