San Diego Farmers Markets Bring Freshness To You

Friday March 9, 2007
With Daylight Saving Time kicking in earlier this year (remember to spring forward on March 11), it means there's an extra hour of daylight to hit a certified farmers market in the afternoon. Not only can farmers markets be found almost every day of the week throughout San Diego county, but they're also a year-round occurrence (ah, the beauty of perfect weather). But it's during spring and summer when you find the local bumper crops of fruits, vegetables and flowers grown by San Diego and California farmers. Read my article about San Diego area certified farmers markets here.
