With the Rock & Roll Marathon running this Sunday, it seems fitting - or serendipitous - that the tides and moon are lining up so that a grunion run might make an appearance on San Diego beaches as well. Plus, the observation ban has been lifted and you can catch these fish (if you can) for your own consumption (be warned, you must have a valid CA fishing license).
