It's Navy vs. Utah at the Poinsettia Bowl, Dec. 20

The Poinsettia Bowl returns for its third year on Dec. 20 at 5 pm (ESPN)and is sponsored by the San Diego County Credit Union. The moniker is named for those lovely red holiday flowers, the poinsettia, that are largely grown here in San Diego County. The University of Utah Utes and the U.S. Naval Academy Midshipmen will battle it out on the turf of Qualcomm Stadium. Utah has won its last six bowl games, dating back to 1999. The Naval Academy's appearance in this year's Poinsettia Bowl will mark the third time they have played in a bowl game in San Diego.
