Comedienne Kathy Griffin Headlines Entertainment at 2008 Gay Pride Festival, July 19-20

The 2008 San Diego LGBT (Gay) Pride Festival is going straight for the D-list of stars by signing up the Queen of the D-listers, Kathy Griffin, to headline the entertainment of the annual event. The Emmy-winning comedienne famous for sharing her life from Hollywood's D-list is making the A-list at this year's San Diego LGBT Pride festival in Balboa Park, scheduled for July 19-20. Griffin will make her special appearance at 6 p.m., July 20, on the festival's solar-powered Green Stage, sponsored by Sempra Energy.
Griffin is the star of the successful reality show on Bravo TV, "Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List," which earned her an Emmy for Outstanding Reality Program. The show recently began running in its fourth season, and in May, the gay-friendly comedienne picked up a GLAAD Media Award at Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.

I’m not a lesbian, but I LOVE KATHY GRIFFIN!!! I’ll go just to see her. Last night after watching D-list (I also love my DVR) my roommate said we’ve GOT to see her, and here she is!! GO TEAM GRIFFIN!!!
Loved Huh! This was my third year at San Diego Gay Pride and dumbo me didn’t EVEN know KG was going to be the belle of the ball! What a kewl surprise! I love tripping out in San Diego with my cuz but this was one heck of a TRIP! I don’t think Kathy will ever NOT be funny! Love to all – Teauteau in Kansas City, Kansas!
