San Diego Auto Show: Hundreds of New Cars, and No Salesmen in Sight
Tuesday December 30, 2008
With the virtual collapse of the economy and, in turn, the American auto industry, it seems a bit strange to have an event like the San Diego Auto Show. But perhaps the event, which Dec. 31 to Jan. 4, is still a necessity to at least show that the automakers haven't completely shriveled up and died.
If anything, the San Diego Auto Show allows those of us who aren't necessarily going to purchase a car anytime soon to at least take a look at what's coming in 2009, perhaps get a peek at the possibility that the industry is belatedly going green and economical, and just play lookie loo. It never hurts to look and wish for something in the future, yes?
