Rock 'n' Roll Marathon This Sunday: Beware of Runners

It's become one of the premier marathons in the country, and Sunday's Rock 'n' Roll Marathon (May 31) is so popular that it attracts some 20,000 runners to the event. Why, other than to test one's skill and torture one's body at the same time? Well, this marathon is unique in that it has live bands playing for the runners every mile or so - helping to keep the runners pumped and the spectators entertained. It's a great event for the city. But beware - many main arteries and freeways will be subject to closure from early morning to early afternoon.
