Ooooh! Aaahhh! 2009 Fourth of July Fireworks

You know we're in bad economic times when communities throughout San Diego County have struggled to find funding for their annual Independence Day fireworks displays. Fortunately, most of the groups coordinating these Fourth of July celebrations were able to scrape together funding either through generous benefactors or from community donations so they could continue their celebrations, although there are a few cancellations that had to take place.

The good news is that there are plenty of July 4th fireworks displays around town to fill any void of canceled events. Besides, what would Independence Day be without a smile-inducing fireworks blast to cap off a day of picnics, barbecues and outdoor activities?
