The Bottom Line
No, it's not a "gentleman's" club, but rather a play on words. The New York strip steak is the Gaslamp Strip Club's signature cut, and this newest Cohn Restaurant does steak in a most unique way.

Guide Review - Restaurant Review: Gaslamp Strip Club
The Gaslamp Strip Club is the newest Cohn Restaurant in the Gaslamp Quarter, and it just might be the most unique. No fancy chefs at this steak house. Why? Because, in essence, you are your own chef. Outfitted with three large communal grills, this sleek and cool eatery expands the concept of the backyard grill. A variety of USDA Choice beef cuts, as well as chicken and fish, await your grilling finesse - all at reasonable prices. I had the filet mignon ($15.95) and my dining partner had the kabob dinner ($9.95) and both were tender and delicious. You're not a cook? The attractive wait staff is friendly and helpful, and if you're stumped, just ask the person grilling next to you for help. The atmosphere lends itself to conversation.
