Opened in 1983 and owned by the Sycuan Band of Kumeyaay Indians, this casino and golf resort is enormous and impressive with 2,000 slots, 60 tables, 1,200-seat bingo hall, off-track betting room.
Viejas Casino
Owned by Viejas Band of Kumeyaay Indians, this popular casino and shopping complex also triples as an outdoor concert venue with top name acts performing in the summer.
Barona Casino
According to industry experts at StrictlySlots.com, "Barona Casino has the loosest slots in San Diego." This resort complex includes a top-notch golf course, and is undergoing a $260 million expansion project.
Pala Casino
Owned by the Pala Band of Mission Indians, Pala Casino is one of the newer casinos located in North County. Pala Casino is located in a scenic valley.
Harrah's Rincon Casino and Resort
The Harrah's name indicates what high stakes are California casinos. Owned by the Rincon Band of Luiseņo Indians, this hotel resort and gambling complex is a perfect North County getaway.
Casino Pauma
Owned by the Pauma Band of Mission Indians, this modest casino (by San Diego standards) is nestled in a citrus grove, in the heart of Pauma Valley. Casino Pauma features delicious dining, live entertainment and 24 hour gaming.
Valley View Casino
Owned by the San Pasqual band of Mission Indians, Valley View Casino, has over 750 state-of-the-art slot machines including Progressives.
Golden Acorn Casino
Owned by the Campo band of Kumeyaay Indians, Golden Acorn Casino is a roadside truck stop/casino complex located in San Diego's backcountry.
La Jolla Indian Slot Arcade
This is by far the smallest and most modest casino in the county - it's actually a slot arcade (30 slots) located on the La Jolla Indian Reservation campground and waterpark complex. Owned by the La Jolla Band of Luiseno Indians.
Pechanga Casino
Technically, not in San Diego but an hour north in the Temecula wine country, Pechanga is a resort complex boasting top name entertainment.
